Alan Pomeranz, D.M.D., M.M.Sc is a partner in Professional Periodontics & Implant Dentistry. Dr. Pomeranz earned his Certificate in Periodontology and M.M.Sc in Oral Biology from Harvard University.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Alan received his D.M.D. from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and his B.S. in Biology from the
University of Colorado. His major research has included immune regulation in periodontal disease and his major
interests include periodontal regeneration, bone regeneration, and dental implants.
Dr. Pomeranz is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association,
and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. He attends annual meetings of the American Academy of Periodontology and regularly completes continuing education courses in periodontal plastic surgery, dental implants, and bone regeneration.
After completing his postdoctoral work at Harvard, Alan moved back to Denver where he
joined Dr. Marc Reissner in practice. He and his wife Mimi were both born and raised in Denver.
They have three young daughters - Sophie, Lena, and Ella. In his free time, Dr. Pomeranz is an avid cyclist, golfer and skier.
