Curriculum Vitae: Neil Neugeboren, D.D.S.

PRACTICE HISTORY
 

• In 1976 Dr. Neugeboren established Norwich Periodontal Associates, a successful periodontal practice in Norwich, Connecticut. Dr. Neugeboren and his wife relocated to Denver, Colorado in 2001 to be near their daughter, son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren who reside in the area.

• Dr. Neugeboren's periodontal practice over the years has included: treatment of periodontal diseases using both non-surgical and surgical procedures to achieve reduction of periodontal pockets and enhancement of periodontal health; bone grafting and guided tissue regeneration to achieve increased bone support and increased clinical attachment levels for the teeth; gum grafting procedures to increase the amount of gum tissue for the teeth and to improve esthetics and eliminate sensitivity by covering exposed root surfaces; crown lengthening procedures to facilitate final crown preparation; ridge augmentation procedures and other plastic surgical procedures to create balance in the gum tissue in preparation for prosthetic dental treatment.

MILITARY EXPERIENCE

• 1974-1976 - Chief of Periodontics at the United States Air Force Hospital, Edwards Air Force Base, Edwards, California. Awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for meritorious service.

POSTGRADUATE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

• 1971-1974 - Postgraduate Certificate of Proficiency in Periodontics from the School of Dentistry, State University of New York at Buffalo.

• 1971-1974 - Masters of Arts degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the Graduate School of the State University of New York at Buffalo.

DENTAL EDUCATION

• 1967-1971 - Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the School of Dentistry, State University of New York at Buffalo.

DENTAL LICENSURE

• Colorado, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York. A license has never been revoked or suspended.
