Presented by HP Wilms, Owner – Firefighter CPR, American Heart Association Instructor
Medical emergencies can happen anywhere and at any time. Recognizing what to do and what to look for can make a big difference.
Did you know that 88 percent of heart attacks outside of the hospital occur in the home? Every 40 seconds someone in the United States has a stroke?
In this class we are going to discuss how to recognize the signs and symptoms of common medical emergencies and how to deal with them.
At the office, is your staff prepared to handle an office emergency? Who does what, when, and how?
We’ll practice handling different medical emergencies in the office using “practice like you play” situations with a life size mannequin.
This practice will help prepare you to deal with medical emergencies.
