Description
The Treatment Coordinator (“TC”) is a member of the Practice’s patient coordination team and ensures Practice growth by generating new patient leads and persuading new patients to start treatment as recommended by the Practice. The TC is to meet with new patients and responsible parties to define financing terms for treatment.
Previous Treatment Coordinator experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Establishes and manages the patient relationship
Creates a comprehensive patient file by obtaining critical patient and family dental and medical history, and insurance information through the new patient phone call and new patient paperwork
Assesses the treatment and financial needs and expectations of the patient and the family
Uses presentation tools and software to ensure the patient and family understand the treatment recommendations and processes from initial treatment to post-treatment
Verifies patient insurance coverage amounts prior to each start
Prepares and presents tailored financial options, ensuring client budgetary concerns are addressed
Prepares financial agreements authorizing treatment to begin on a specific date with specified financial terms for the duration of treatment
Uses telephone, social and print media to follow up with new and pending patients to maintain the relationships
Builds relationships with referral dental partners and their teams within the market
Other duties as assigned

Description
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable dental assistant to join our periodontal team! In this role, you’ll help prepare for procedures, support our clinical staff, manage patient records and appointments, and ensure every patient has a smooth, positive experience. Responsibilities
Help periodontists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
Answer any questions the patient may have about dental hygiene, schedule appointments for patient care follow-up, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patient’s teeth and gums, after procedures
Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
Measure and document vital signs and update the medical history of patients
Meet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment
Qualifications
Certification or an Associate’s Degree from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required
Active BLS/CPR certification is required
1-2 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant
Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are preferred
Proficiency with computers, experience updating patient histories, and experience with dental software is necessary
Compensation
$25 – $27 Hourly
